New site – who dis?
If you’ve found your way to my page, welcome! My name is Nikki, and as I always tell my friends, I am a ray of sunshine.
And if you believe that, I’m happy to sell you an igloo in the Sahara . . .
In all seriousness, I’m here to calm my demons – they love to dance, and generally wreak havoc in my life. I’ve lost both of my parents, two of the best puppers, and my beloved black cat to cancer. Writing soothes those savage demon beasties, (sometimes!) and I haven’t been doing enough of it,
If you’re looking for sunshine and rainbows, e-mail me and I’ll send you any number of wonderful sites to visit – because you won’t find those here. What you will find is blunt, honest, sometimes (well. . . more than sometimes, truthfully) dark, but always unvarnished me.
New for 2024 – I decided to see if there are folks out there that might want some help with their writing. I have always found inspiration through helping others (which helps me more than anyone could ever fathom), and I’m thinking there may be someone out there that just needs help breaking through that mental block in putting pen to paper.
Through the coming months, I’ll be adding more content, including a new posts that you’ll exclusively get if you subscribe, plus some more fun stuff we can work through together. Be patient with me, as I figure out how best to navigate this new site.

I’ve travelled any number of places around the world, but it’s true when they say there’s no place like home. You can usually find me sitting at a bar, drinking something local and shooting the shit with anyone and everyone about any and all of the things.
